THIS IS AN ORIGINAL CLARKS ACCESSORY INNER WIRE CABLE FOR USE WITH A SHIMANO POSITRON GEAR SET UP.

POSITRON WAS SHIMANOS EARLY SYSTEM FOR INDEXED GEARS WHERE THE INDEXING IS PART OF THE DERAILLEUR SET UP AND NOT PART OF THE SHIFT LEVER AS NOW, SO THESE CABLES ARE VERY RARE AS THE SYSTEM IS NOT IN USE TODAY

THEY ARE THEREFORE OF INTEREST TO VINTAGE BIKE RESTORERS OR COLLECTORS OF EARLY SHIMANO COMPONENTS.

THE INNER WIRE IS 74" LONG, IS MADE OF A  PIANO TYPE WIRE AND HAS A DRUM/BARREL SHAPED END
