JUST FOUND THIS SOILED PAIR OF GENUINE OLS SCHOOL BMX ACORN FREESTYLE COASTER MAG WHEELS

THESE WERE MADE IN ENGLAND BY ACORN INTERNATIONAL IN KINGSTON UPON HULL DURING THE 80's
  • THESE WERE FITTED TO BMX'S IN THE EIGHTIES WHEN MAGS WERE ALL THE RAGE, SO IDEAL FOR THAT CLASSIC REBUILD
  • THESE ARE CREAM IN COLOUR , NEW AND HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN FITTED INTO A BIKE BUT THE COLOUR IS A LITTLE FADED DUE TO STORAGE SINCE THE 1980'S 
  • CENTRE OF HUBS ARE ALLOY SO BETTER THAN THE PLASTIC CENTRES YOU NOW 
  • REAR HUB HAS VERY SORT AFTER SUNTOUR REAR COASTER BRAKE THESE WERE THE ONES EVERYONE WANTED FOR TRICKS BACK IN THE EIGHTIES
  • SUPPLIED WITH AN 18T SPROCKET
  • SUPPLIED WITH  WHEEL NUTS + COASTER BRAKE MOUNT BRACKET (GOES ROUND THE CHAINSTAY)
  • THESE ARE NOT BASIC SKYWAY TYPE WHEELS, THEY ARE MUCH HIGHER QUALITY.
  • The moulded part of the wheel is made of ZYTEL SUPER TOUGH, which was produced by Dupont. 
  • The hub plates are LM24 moulded aluminium  anodised die castings. 
  • The bearings are SKF shielded precision races. 
  • The hub is held together by five hi-tensile machine screws fitted with lock nuts.
NOTE;
THESE WHEELS ARE NEVER PERFECTLY TRUE THEY NEVER WERE SO PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO BE.
WE ARE SELLING THESE AS SOILED BECAUSE THE PLASTIC IS A BIT DISCOLOURED , SO NO RETURNS ACCEPTED  ALSO THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT BIT OF DETERIORATION IN THE HUB WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN STORED, AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE BOX, THEY HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THE CORNER FOR SOMEWHERE AROUND 25 YEARS.

THESE WOULD ALSO BE FANTASTIC FOR PEOPLE LOOKING TO CHANGE THEM TO ANOTHER COLOUR (NOT SURE WHAT THEY DO BUT I KNOW CUSTOMERS CHANGE THE COLOURS OF MAG WHEELS
