Vision Alloy Base Bar is constructed from AL6066/T6 triple butted alloy and features a zero degree flat wing with a custom shape for optimized aerodynamics. To further reduce drag it uses internal cable routing, while still being compatible with most standard aero extensions. This aluminium, wing-shaped, cow-horn bar is a third of the price of a carbon equivalent, so represents a very good choice for upgrading a road bike for time trials. The 13cm central section has a constant 26mm diameter, which will accommodate any non-oversized stem and many – but not all – clip-on aerobars; check the spec on yours or try them for size on your existing bar’s central bulge.
